Told ya so!

Those are the famous words that I got to hear last night from Jared. He has said all along that Bronson is not ready for school and as much as I hate to say it my husband was right! Man that hurts to say that:)

Bronson took a 4 hour nap yesterday and then headed to VBS. He was in a lot better mood. But later that night he told me, with tears in his eyes, that he didn't want to go to school yet. Jared and I told him that he didn't have to that he could wait and go next year. So he said I will just wait until I am a little older. Jared and I's plan was to see how he did at summer school and then make our decision on that. Well that decision was made last night and I really think we made the right one. I honestly thought he was ready. But I was wrong! Nothing hurt out of the deal. I am just glad that we found out during summer school instead of sending him in the fall and then finding out then. So hopefully next summer he will be okay with everything. I am sure he will be. Lets hope I will be right this time.

Boys and their Toys....... Motorcycles

Bronson getting instructions from Jared and Braxton on the do's and the don'ts of riding his motorcycle.

And there he goes! He did really good for his first time. He got a little nervous at first but now he thinks he is pretty hot stuff:) He almost hit one of Braxton's egg laying chickens that day. He thought that would have been pretty cool. But I am sure Braxton wouldn't have liked it though.

Jared watching Braxton take off on his brand new motorcycle. I am sure he is thinking man I wish that was mine. I don't think they ever grow up:)

And I was right..... here is Jared riding the motorcycle! He took it down thru the yard, down the gravel road and on the highway! I didn't think he was ever going to give it back to Braxton. And no we are not getting one for Jared, he is just going to have to get his fix on Braxton's. I did ride it myself! I think Jared and Braxton thought that I looked pretty funny on there. I didn't even wreck it. GO ME!

Lots of Tears

Little Bronson didn't have such a good day today at summer school. Yesterday was so much fun for him that I was surprised when Andrea called me to tell my that my little boy was crying A LOT! I am sure yesterday was a long day for him. He had a LONG day of summer school, then VBS and then we didn't get home until 10:00 from Braxton's ball game. So no wonder he was tired, huh? I would say 95% of his crying was b/c he was exhausted. We will find out in the days to follow. If he keeps on crying and doesn't want to go then we will have our decision made for us. He isn't ready for school! Andrea said they came and got her today b/c he kept on crying. So she went to check on him and he jumped in her arms. She did lots of checking on him for me and then brought him home with her when she left at 12. It is so great to have friends at school with your kids so you know they are always taken care of. Thanks Andrea for taking care of him. I am sure yesterday he was fine b/c she was his teacher and he had a familiar face to see all the time, then today she wasn't there and with him being tired it didn't mix well. Maybe I should have prepared him a little more that Mrs. Worth was going to be his teacher instead of Andrea today. I will keep you posted on the days to follow.

Tonight we are going to go get Braxton's new motorcycle. I am sure I will have lots of pictures to post tomorrow. I already have pic's to post of Bronson on his motorcycle but I will wait to post them with Braxton on his new motorcycle.

Weekend events plus Bronson's first day of school!

What a wonderful weekend.

Saturday Jared and I went to Columbia for our anniversary. We had a great time! We ate at a wonderful steak place called CC's City Broiler. It was sooooo good. The service was great and so was the food! We went to a family reunion on our way home too. It was nice to see everyone.

Yesterday was Shaw house cleaning. The boys got up and helped too. It went a lot quicker with help. So the house is clean for now:) We put our tent up yesterday. Braxton is having 3 boys over Sat night for a weiner roast and a camp out. I can't wait to see how long they actually stay in the tent. I am guessing 30 minutes, TOPS!

Bronson's first day of summer school was today. He was so excited. I can't wait to see how his day went. He asked me this morning if I thought they would have PS. I said PS??? You mean PE?? Yeah! I said well I don't know. He thought he would go ahead and wear his tennis shoes so he would be ready in case they had PS:) He thought he needed his cardinal backpack. So he had it on this morning but once he seen all the other kids didn't have a backpack he decided he didn't his. He rode the bus with Colby and Lane Parsons this morning. He wants to ride the bus to the courthouse just like Braxton did. So he is riding to the church next door and then he gets to walk over to the courthouse. I will have to fill you in tomorrow on how his day goes today.

Bronson at home ready to go to school.

Whew!

What a crazy last couple of days!

I had to take Braylon to St. Louis on Wed. for a Doctor's appt with a gastroenterologist. My mom was suppose to go with me but was not able to get off of work, so Andrea went. Thanks Andrea:) We made it safe and sound to the hosptial all because of "Lovely Lola" our new garmin! I wasn't really impressed with the Dr. at first but started liking him a little better towards the end of the appt. He wanted to do an upper endoscope. They scheduled it for Thursday at 12. I didn't really want to go home and then come back but Andrea needed to be home on Thursday for a board meeting. So my mom met us in Columbia and Andrea took her car home and mom and I headed back to STL. Braylon was so good although he was getting very tired of sitting in his car seat. Who could blame him?

His scope went really well. They discovered that the valve at the bottom of his esophagus is not closing completely. So basically when he eats anything that swells up in the stomach the stomach has to work harder to push it out and in turn the food takes the easy way out and comes right back up. They will get the results of the biopsies next week and will know a little more then. The Dr. said it is something they can treat with medicine. THANK GOODNESS:) The Dr. that did the scope I like a lot better. He is in the same office as is the Dr. I didn't care for too much. So if we ever have to go back I will make sure and get the Dr. we had yesterday.

We rushed to Edina from STL to make it to Bronson's game on time. We made it there by 5:30 for the game at 6. Thanks to "lovely lola" for shaving off 15 minutes b/c of a cut thru route.
I think everyone needs a garmin! The game went good. I think all the kids got hits, which makes them really excited. Bronson played 1st base and didn't do too bad. He just has shorter legs than everyone and couldn't quite make it to the base before the runner. Oh well, all in fun, right:)

Today is my anniversary! I still can't believe it has been 10 years. Jared and I are going to Columbia tomorrow for it. We are staying at the Stoney Creek Inn. I am sure we will have fun.

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Kids and Respect

Do you ever wonder how your kids will turn out? I do! My boys have hearts of gold and are so tenderhearted. I hope they keep this with them as they grow up. I have taught my boys to do several things that a lot of kids are not made to do. I have taught them to help clean up supper, put their clothes away, pick up after themselves and numerous other things. I don't think this hurts them in anyway to learn to do this kind of stuff at a young age. Some people can't believe I make my kids do stuff like that. And I tell them "their wives will thank me someday!" I know Jared wasn't taught to do any of that stuff and it has taken me 10 years to get him trained. I want my boys to be respectful and help out right off the bat.

Speaking of 10 years......

Jared and I will be married 10 years on Friday. I said to him "can you bellieve we have been married for 10 years?" and he said no. Then I said "can you believe I have put up with you for 10 years?" and his repsonse was "can you believe I have put up with you for 10 years" He might have a good point there:) I told the boys the other night that we would be married 10 years on Friday and Bronson said I thought you were already married. I said we are and had to explain everything to him. And I told him that you have to get married to have kids and Braxton said "not neccessarily". I said it was a good idea to be though. I know Braxton has done the math on when we were married and when he was born. For some reason that first child can come anytime and then the next ones take 9 months. Lots of people didn't think Jared and I would make it 10 months let alone 10 years. We proved them all wrong. Don't get me wrong, it was touch and go several times, but we worked thru it all.

I GOT SUN!

It was a beautiful day for ballgames on Saturday. I wanted to get some sun and I got it. I look kind of like a racoon. I had my sunglassed on all day Sat. Oh well, at least I got the sun I wanted to get.

The games went great. They played new rules that the boys were not used to. They could lead off and steal as soon as the pitcher started his windup. There was one time that the runner on third almost beat the ball to the plate. He was safe and scored us a run. Braxton did some pitching too. He did awesome! He played excellent ball all day long. We were so proud of him. He loves playing with those boys. We ended up getting 2nd place and the boys received medals. They should be proud of themselves. They played teams that have played 35+ games already this year and they had only practiced once. They did great!

Bronson and Braylon were great too. They played, played and played some more. I took the wagon and a portable sandbox. I think all the kids there enjoyed that!

We were all so tired yesterday that Braylon and I slept until 9:30 and Braxton and Bronson slept until 9. Then I made them all lay down at 1 so Braylon would go to sleep and we all fell asleep. Bronson got up around 4ish, Braylon and I got up at 5 and Brax slept until 5:30. I guess we were all pooped! And Jared just did his usual.... worked!

Braxton's first league games is tonight. I hope we have decent weather. A little bit of rain is in the forecast for this morning.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Ball, Ball and more Ball

We had practice for Bronson's team last night and we have practic for Braxton's team tonight. We are leaving right after his practice and heading to Palmyra for ballgames tomorrow. Braxton has 4 games tomorrow. They are at 10, 11:30, 2 and the last one we don't know yet. It is suppose to be beautiful tomorrow. I can't wait to watch ball and get some sun. Our regular little league games start Monday. Braxton said that Monday is going to be the best day ever. The last day of school and his first ballgame with McGoldrick Dozing. I have to agree with him.

Bronson told me yesterday that he knows what he wants Santa to bring him for his Birthday. I said really, What? He wants a computer just like Da's. I don't know if Santa will be able to deliver that! It is so funny what kids think up.

Braylon isn't feeling the greatest today. I am not sure if it is a spring cold or allergies. If I had to bet I would say it started out as allergies and has moved into a cold. I will find out at 11:45 when I take him to the Dr.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I know I will. You can't get any better than Baseball and Sun!

Track and Field Day

Braxton had track and field day yeserday. Jared had the morning off for his physical so he went down to watch him. My mom, dad, Bronson and I went too. He did awesome. He placed in everything! I was so excited for him. I feel bad for those kids when they don't get any ribbons though. But I have to agree with what Andrea said to her class.... some kids are good at reading and some kids are good at running. The ones that struggle with their school work all year get to shine at track and field day. I believe that is very true. Had Braxton not placed in anything we would have still been very proud of him for trying.

Bronson got to run the 100 meter dash and do the softball throw too. He is already excited to do everything next year. Next year will be a longer day though. Bronson will be competing in the morning and Braxton will be competing in the afternoon. So we will be down there all day. I hope Noah Weaher radio gets us a better forecast for track and field day next year. It seems like every year it is cold or rainy!
Bronson doing the softball throw. He did a good job:)

Braxton doing the high jump. He hit is butt on the bar 3 times and it managed to stay up. How? I am not sure. He ended up getting 1st place. Good thing the bar didn't fall down:)

Braxton doing the long jump! He got 4th place.

Braxton running in the 50 meter dash. He got 2nd place. Rhett Cook is running right behind Braxton. He kept saying go Braxton, run Braxton. I think that helped him run faster:)

Braxton running in the 100 meter dash. He got 2nd place.

Braxton and Bradley on the right side of the picture crossing the finsih line in the three legged race. They got 1st place:)

Braxton got 2nd in the softball throw

A milestone:)

I hit the -40 pounds milestone:) I have 11 more pounds to go before I hit my first goal. I am sure I will make myself another goal. If I do I think it will be another 20. I have to hit the first goal first! I don't know how I took off 6 pounds in one day but hey I will take it. I am sure it had something to do with this stupid period crap. But I only have to deal with that for another 3 months. I scheduled my hysterectomy for August 13th. For those of you who don't know the story..... to make a long story short..... I have been bleeding VERY heavily for the last 2 years so they tried an IUD and thought it should work and it SHOULD cut my period down to 2 days a month. OK, lets try 3 to 4 weeks a month. Yes pretty much all the stinkin time! So they decided I needed surgery. My uterus is enlarged and I have some endometrious ( i know i misspelled that). They are going to have to do my surgery abdominally instead of vaginally. It will just be like having another c-section but they will take out my uterus instead of a baby. They are going to leave my ovaries. Good thing, b/c I really don't want to be grouchy!

I can't wait to be period free:)

MoPEDS

Andrea and I went to Curves this morning. She only had 4 pairs of shoes in her van plus one in her classroom. She looked pretty sexy wearing Vance's tennis shoes:) We decided that we work out a lot harder when there are not as many people at curves. On the way home we got behind a MOPED doing 10 miles an hour. Yes on the highway! He didn't have the courtesy to get off the highway and speed along the side. So we had to wait to pass him b/c there were several cars coming. I thought we should call him in since there is a min. speed limit in a 60 mile an hour speed zone. Andrea thought we should honk at him and since she was driving she did. He about jumped right off of his FAST MOPED! He gave us a dirty look and kept shaking his head at us. It was so funny. We were kind of worried that he would take it out on the kids down the road that were waiting for the bus. Andrea said if he did then Jared would just have to chase him down. But he could probably catch him just by walking b/c he was going so stinking slow! We should have used the eggs Andrea bought from Braxton and threw them at him. I am sure Braxton would appreciate us wasting his eggs on something like that:)

I thought I should weigh this morning at Curves b/c I ate several mushrooms last night and I was afraid I had gained a couple of pounds. When I stepped on the scales I couldn't believe my eyes. I had gained A LOT! I was so frazzled that I kept moving the little deal to see what I actually weighed but I couldn't get it to go anywhere but WAY up. I thought maybe I didn't have the one thing in the groove right so I kept moving it too. Nothing was changing. It looked as though I had gained over 50 pounds. Then all of a sudden a lady I know really well said how you getting along? And I turned around and she was standing on the back of it with one foot. No wonder I thought I had gained. I was beginning to get a little nervous. Needless to say I stayed the same. It was really funny, I deserve to get picked on b/c I am normally the one doing the picking:)

Better run, got to actually do some work!

The COPS Show in real life

Mother's Day was a very great exciting day for the Shaw's. I woke up to breakfast in bed from Braxton. He made me a half of a peanut butter sandwich, 2 little cupcakes, 2 tootsie rolls, 2 hershey kisses and a glass of milk with ice in it. Yes, I like ice in my milk and what is even better he knew that:) I ate the sandwich and one of the cupcakes and drank my milk. I couldn't really eat any more. It was so sweet of him! Braxton and I went to church while Jared and the other 2 hung out at home. We decided to run to KV to see our neighbor, Donald Jones, in the hospital. It was suppose to be a real quick trip which turned into a little longer than we anticipated........

As we were driving west a car swerved into my path and I thought what in the world are they doing? Then all of a sudden rocks from the overpass fell right in front of my van. Why my van didn't get hit is beyond me. That thing is a lemon and always gets in the way of things. Anyhow, I thought the bridge was falling apart so I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed that there were kids up on the overpass throwing rocks at cars. These rocks were not small rocks either! So I called 911 and reported them. Jared wanted to go back and make sure they got caught so we headed back. When we got back there were several cars stopped and one of those cars had gotten hit by the rocks in their windshield. The kids had taken off running so Jared took off after them. A few blocks later Jared called and told me where he was and where the kids were. The cop was headed to look for them so I called 911 back and told them where they were. So I went to find Jared and I found Jared, 3 kids and the cops. Jared was a huffing and a puffing. The kids ended up being a 14 year old boy, a 13 year old boy and a 13 year old girl. Needless to say they were caught! The cops told them to turn around and put their hands behind their backs b/c they were under arrest. And the one boy had the nerve to say "FOR WHAT". Hello, property damage! Braxton and Bronson got to witness the whole thing. I think it was a good lesson for them to witness. I told them that is what happens when you do things you aren't suppose to do. Bronson was really afraid that he might have to go to jail. Why? I am not sure:) So needless to say my husband was really worn out. Maybe he should join Curves and then he might have been in shape:)

Enough for now!

Pictures Not Perfect

It's finally Friday! I had the day off yesterday due to Harry Truman's Bday, which was a great treat. Andrea and I got up and went to Curvaceous Curves and then I went home and got ready and went to work for about and hour. I picked up Bronson and Braylon and headed to KV. I wanted to get Braylon's 2 year pictures taken. So we stopped at Walmart to get them taken but ended up leaving after he cried forever. I didn't like giving in to him but I knew we were not going to get anywhere since he had his mind made up that he was not going to smile. I really didn't want to waste mine or the picture ladies time. Matt (my cousin's husband) showed up there while we were trying to get the pictures taken and Bronson was soooo excited to see him that he ran right to him and gave him a great big hug. I think that made Matt feel really good. So we left without pictures and went and got my cousin Amanda so we could all go eat. It was really nice to have lunch with them. I am excited for them to be in KV now, as our my boys. I don't know who is more excited Matt or the boys to hang out with each other:) Matt may come up early on Sunday to maybe go fishing with the boys. I know they will love that! Bronson had ball practice last night and Braxton had a musical. Busy, Busy night. Andrea took Bronson home with her for me. Thanks Andrea (anndrea) Frederick:)

Braxton got 21 eggs yesterday. That was fun. He actually got to see a chicken lay one too. He thought that was pretty cool.

Jared took the day off to today to go mushroom hunting. Bronson is excited to get to spend the day with him and Braxton is jealous. Jared and I are going to Kahoka tonight for a benefit for Jim Jone's dad. I hope they have a good turnout. No big plans for the weekend. Just mothers day. I got a tree for Mother's Day. I will post a picture soon. Also Braxton got me 2 cookbooks from the book fair for Mother's Day. He is such a thoughtful little boy. He said he bought one and got one for free. They told him to get something free for himself but he wouldn't do it. So he got me something else. I love him so much for that.

Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there and to Jenn the mother to be:)

Rolled up windows and fingers don't jive

Yesterday evening was a crazy one! Braxton and Colby got off the bus at the courthouse and then it was off to get the 2 others. They were getting ready to pour Vance and Andrea's walls for their basement so I took the boys over there to watch that. But we didn't get to see them pour b/c we had to get to ball practice. When we went to leave I felt bad b/c Emma had to stay at the farm all by herself so I told her she could come with us. We went and got another little girl that plays on the ball team. So 5 kids later we were off to the ball park. Our practice didn't go as well as I wanted it to. The kids seemed a little crazier than normal. We tried to practice like we were playing a game and they were getting really bored, plus we were a little short handed on our help. One hour is a long time for 5 & 6 year olds to pay attention.

Then Braxton had practice right after Bronson. That kind of got screwed up b/c where we were suppose to practice they decided to have a high school baseball game. So we ended up moving our practice to a grass field. I am not quite sure how their practice went b/c Braylon was being terrible. He was playing really good in the van until he got his fingers rolled up in the window. He started screaming and I was trying to roll the window down but it wouldn't go. So I freaked out and went to his door (running on the gravel around the van barefoot) to try and get it down over there. I guess the reason I couldn't get it down was b/c he was hitting the button when I was. We got them out and listened to him cry for about 10 minutes. He wanted his daddy! So we went over by Jared and then he wasn't listening to me so I said we are leaving. That made him VERY mad! He sreamed and cried for over 30 minutes. I put him in the corner ON THE PORCH, so if he threw up it would be outside. Which he did. He cried all thru his bath and more. Bronson had to go home with us too b/c he kept asking me for his glove and I kept telling him no. I told him if he asked me one more time he was going to get into trouble. When I was getting ready to leave with Braylon he said "mommy can I have my glove". I said get your butt in the van NOW. I said NO! So he too was upset. Nothing better than having 2 kids crying in a confined area! They are both in lots better moods today.

I hope tonight is a much better night. We have the Sonlight Carnival for church. And yes Jenn I think we do have a dozen so I will bring them with me. I will see about a dozen for you too Candy for practice tomorrow night.

BOCK, BOCK, BOCK

Here is Brax and one of his first eggs his chickens laid. He is so excited to be in the egg laying business. We went and got his 40 new chickens last night while he was mushroom hunting with my dad. So when he got home I told him we needed to go and check to see if his chickens had laid any eggs. When we got down there he said "holy crap". I guess he said that b/c they were all piled together and he didn't even notice that there were more than the 15 he already had. My dad asked him how many chickens he had and he said 15. He was ready to leave b/c he didn't find any eggs and my dad said well why don't you count them. So he started counting and when he got to 23 he said " what is going on here". He finally realized that we had gotten his other 40 chickens. He was really happy and excited then. Starting tomorrow we will have so many eggs that they will be coming out of our butts:) Aren't I funny! BOCK, BOCK, BOCK!

Pictures from Kindergarten Screening

Here he is skipping!

Look at him sitting so patiently!

Kindergarten Screening

Kindergarten screening went great! I was so proud of Bronson. He knew all of his letters except for Q and Y. He didn't recognize the numbers 9 & 10 either. He knew all of his colors. He knew his shapes except for the triangle. I told him a triangle looked like a tent but he still didn't get it. Oh well, we can't expect him to ready for Harvard! He had trouble with rhyming. When they did problem solving with him on what do you do about a dark room he said"don't go in there" and what do you do if you break something he said "spanking". Yep we beat our kids if they break something:) Not really but we must threaten them really good. LOL! He was able to tie his shoes 100%, so GO BRONSON! Anyhow, this doesn't make our decision for us on whether or not to send him to Kindergarten. Jared still wants to wait. We will just have to wait and see who wins this battle until after summer school. N0 matter what our decision is he still did great!

Grandma Margie's Baptism

This is Grandma Margie getting baptized.

This is right after.
Bronson wanted to know if Grandma Margie was going to have to take her clothes off to get baptized in the bathtub. It is so funny what kids think and wonder about. What it would be to be a child again:)

The 3 BS's

What a beautiful day! I am so glad to see the sun shining.

It was a good, busy, but lo key weekend. Jared dug Vance and Andrea's basement this weekend. That was fun and interesting. If you haven't checked out Andrea's blog to see the wonderful pictures of me in my "boots", then you need to. Yesterday my grandma got baptized. That was such a wonderful thing to experience. It isn't everyday that someone gets to witness the baptism of your 83 year old grandma. Very moving! Then we had cake and ice cream for my counsin Amber's little girl Mayci who turned 2!

Braxton is going to get 40 more egg laying chickens. So if you need eggs give us a call! He is so excited to have his Egg Laying Business:) He has it all figured out on how much he should make a week minus the feed. I think it is great for a 9 year old to have some kind of repsonsibility. Braxton had 2 baseball practices this weekend. He did some pitching on Sat and he hit someone. At least we got that out of the way! I am sure it will happen lots more.

Bronson has Kindergarten screening tonight. I am kind of nervous because I want him to do good to prove to Jared that he is ready. I will let everyone know tomorrow how he does. Bronson wanted to stay at Colby's Sat night so I told him he could. When I got home Andrea was there to get him some clothes and Bronson looked up at her with big ole' tears and said he wanted to stay home with his Mommy. That just makes me so happy:) He was tired and needed me! I was sitting with him in my lap and I asked him why he wanted to stay at home and he told me "because I love you mommy." Doesn't that just make tears come to your eyes? Just when you think they like their dad more b/c they want to be with him all the time they say something like that to make up for all the jealousy issues you have!

Braylon was his usual ornery self over the weekend. He was really good all day Sat for being couped up in a vehicle watching his daddy dig. He decided to throw up again last night. IMAGINE THAT! This time though was not on purpose. He had ate a little bit and drank some lemonade and then we sat down for supper and he took 2 bites and threw up everywhere. Normally he waits until I have a couple of bites left but last night I had just sat down. So what a way to ruin an appetite.

Friday, May 2, 2008

Gotta love your children although they get on your nerves!

Braylon and I are clashing today! He was a grouch the minute he got up this morning. WHINE, WHINE, WHINE! When I was watching the kids at daycare for a little while this morning he was in trouble 3 times. I put him in the corner and when I looked at him he was acting like he was going to throw up. Which this is his new thing now when he gets into trouble, because he know that I am going to pick him up and take him to the stool or sink so I don't have clean it up. So what do I do? Let him throw up all over the place and then punish myself by having to clean it up or do what I have been doing? It isn't like you can have a 2 year old clean up his own puke.

Bronson's practice went really good last night. I was very impressed.

Braxton's team did good too. I think Jared is getting stressed a little bit. He is ready to find out what position these kids are going to play and the other coach has the kids in different places than Jared thinks they need to be. Guess they will just have to work this one out on their own.

Thank god it is Friday! This week has been so stinkin slow. Jared is digging Vance and Andrea's basement tomorrow. Andrea is so excited. Braxton has practice tomorrow for his Lancaster team and then practice on Sunday for his Memphis team. My grandma Margie is getting baptized on Sunday too. I am so happy for her. She is in her 80's and is nervous and ready.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and I will blog on Monday.

Mama and her Chicks

My dad took this picture last night. These are the egg laying chickens. I am smiling and talking at the same time. Imagine me talking:)

Sunny Days

I love sunny days! I was really worried that it was going to rain today, but I think it is going to hold off until after midnight. Braxton and Bronson both have practice tonight. We will be at the ball fields from 5:15 to 8 ish. What about supper?? I guess we will just eat when we get home. That is the only thing I don't like about it staying light later. We never eat until 8.

I weighed today! I have lost 33 lbs altogether. I seem to gain 2 lbs on the weekends then lose it by Thursday. I may need to work on my eating habits on the weekends. Who can eat good when they are never home? How come you can gain 2 lbs in 2 days and then it takes you 4 days to lose it? I don't get it......

Braxton got him some egg laying chickens last night. He is so excited for them to lay eggs. We had to check on them last night before we went to bed and then he was up at 5:45 to go check this morning. Wonder why he doesn't get up that early for school? Once they lay their first eggs for Braxton I will post some pics. Bronson told Emma last night about the new chickens. He told her that they laid their eggs from their butt cracks. Emma thought that was gross b/c they might have poop in them. I told her that all those eggs she eats come from a chickens butt. She thought that was funny. I am sure her mom has filled her in on this before but coming from Bronson made it funny:)
