that is what braylon did last night! bronson came running into the laundry room and said "you need to get your son." i said why? he said "b/c he just pee'd in a cup". don't ask me why he did b/c who would know! he pee'd in this cup IN the bathroom, go figure! oh, the joys of boys! TGIF!

it is a no go to jeff city on thursday! the weather put a damper on those plans. i was really excited to "just get away" for one night! andrea and i are still thinking about taking off anyway! i am sure we could find lots to do. maybe next time............

My Evil Side

you know everyone has an evil side? well mine decided to show today!

for the last, oh, 8 years, i have MY parking spot here at work. it is really funny how everyone that works here in the courthouse or on the square has THEIR spot that they park in. and then you have some people that just like to be ornery and park in your spot b/c they just like to be funny, SARA! it is just one of those things that you know who parks there and so you just don't even think about parking there. it is just common courtesy

well for the last couple of months there is a new lady at tri-county and she has decided to take MY parking spot! i thought well she is new and just doesn't know yet. so shouldn't there be someone that tells her "ma'am you can't park there b/c that is BREE'S spot, you are just going to have to find a different spot"?

i thought that maybe she just "happened" to park in MY spot every time, but a few weeks ago i saw differently! we both came up to the 4 way stop. me first! so isn't the first one at a stop sign SUPPOSE to go first? well that is what i thought, but she did a half A** stop and WENT before ME! yeah, just so SHE could get "THE" spot. and maybe this was just a coincidence or me just being "frustrated" b/c she keeps parking in MY spot.

i have been trying to tell myself that it is JUST a parking spot but for some reason I JUST can't get over it!

so this morning i come up to the 4 way stop FIRST and there is a car that comes up on my right, so i proceed to go thru the intersection and i "glance" over and behind that car at the stop sign is the parking spot stealer. so this is when my EVIL side came out. guess what i did....
I LAUGHED OUT LOUD! I BEAT HER TO "THE"/"MY" spot! Isn't that great? I thought so too:)

Carpenter Jared

and a carpenter he is not! and i don't mean that in a bad way. he did a good job, for what i know about sheetrock and mudding, but he HATES doing the work. he gets mad, cuss's and it takes him a little longer than it should. i am really glad he is trying and actually getting something done though. so as you can see he got sheetrock and mud on the wall to the basement. the sheetrock is compliments from the frederick's, thanks guys! and vance.... i think you need to come over some night and get him moving so we can get a lot more done and personally, you are a lot better at it than he is. don't tell him i said that though!

i LOVE my new colors in the bedroom

Whew! what an expierence! i couldn't sleep saturday morning so i got my butt out of bed at 6:15 and thought i would get started painting. i got a lot done before andrea got there at 9:30. i primed the red wall, i spilled primer all over the carpet, scrubbed it out (what i could), trimmed all of the bottom in the bedroom, broke a roller, spilled water all over the floor and i think that was about it! once andrea got there i straightened up! i thought i was just going to have to go back to bed and paint another day. we got everything done by 2. the kids were very good!

Weekend Madness

everyone keeps saying how happy they are that it is friday! i normally am super excited about fridays! but today i just don't feel very good.

i have lots to do this weekend! we weren't going to do anything tonight but tiffany texted me last night and wants to go to bogies! well i can't pass up a dinner at bogies. so we are going with them. i think once i get home i am gonna prime the one wall in our bedroom that needs it. then tomorrow we are painting! i am really excited to see the colors i have picked out. andrea is helping me. she says she is returning the favor:) braxton has ball practice and some friends invited us over for supper. so another crazy weekend! church and a foundations class on sunday. hopefully we will get all the painting done tomorrow so i won't have to do any on sunday!!! wish me luck.

i show up to work yesterday and someone says what is that on your jeans? uh....... oh that? that is dried snot! yep, right above my knee. perfect height for my little 2 year old!

thanks doesn't even begin to tell you guys how much i appreciate your support. reading each and every one of your comments on my last post made me cry. i am such a very lucky person to have such great friends and family to tell me what i need to hear and to pray for me when i need it.

am i a bad mommy?

i don't even know where to begin.....

andrea posted about having a good mother/daughter relationship. i won't this too with my boys. but lately the way i have been acting, i don't deserve to have that kind of relationship with them.

i am tired, grouchy, yell at them for the dumbest things, etc. i tell myself right after i do something dumb or mean that i should not be that way. then i try harder and then i catch myself doing the same thing again. i have prayed for more patience, for me to be a better mommy and so on and so forth.

i know that i have to want to change this in order for it to change! so please help me out guys..... i need your prayers and your constant support. if you see me being a bad mommy, TELL ME! i know sometimes i just say something and i don't realize how mean i said it to them, so if you hear me doing this, TELL ME!

i am sad about it! i really want to be a good mommy and i don't want my boys to someday remember me as this mean ole grouchy mom! i want them to respect me, talk to me and etc.

now that i have a lump the size of a lemon in my throat, i am gonna make a promise to myself and you, that i am going to try and be the best mommy that i can from now on!

~ i was making him really mad the other night and he looked at me and said "me gonna tell on yoooooooo he ran to his daddy and i heard him chirpin away to him and then he came running back to me and said "me told on yoooooooou!"



~ today we were laying down for a nap and i told him if he didn't get to sleep that i was gonna call his dad. he replied with "me gonna call the boooooooogy man and have him come and getcho!"



~ today at church he got to stay upstairs before going down for children's church. he thought he was pretty big stuff. so when it was time to pray i would say braylon close your eyes. so he would and then he would reopen them right away. i said "braylon, close your eyes". and he said "but i can't see". LOL! and he said this loud enough that i think everyone could have heard him. i took a picture of him praying. he looked at me right after i did it and i made him close his eyes again so i could get another one. so when i took another picture he said LOUDLY "you done?" boy this little stinker is getting soooo cute. i am not going to post the picture yet b/c i want to save it for ATWT! so check back on thursday to see it:)

~ he has started adding more things to his prayers lately. now he says,
Dear Dod,
thank you for my mommy, daddy, braxton, bronson, deers, coons,
.... mommy did you hear that?
..... yes braylon and what else?
dog food, tows (cows), and ummmmmmmm,

DICE DIVAS

our first night of BUNCO was a success! we had lots of good food, company and fun!! it was a little overwhelming to some at the beginning, but once we got "rolling" it all came natural! There were 10 out of the 12 that got at least one BUNCO. i should have gotten pictures of the two that didn't get one, but didn't even think about it. sorry heather and andrea! i thought i was going to be one of the only ones that didn't get one, but i got one right close to the end! i was kind of sad when i wasn't having much luck, as andrea would say i was a sore loser. sometimes maybe, but most of the time i am not! andrea had us all dying laughing at the end. i wish i would have gotten a picture of that! i think everyone had a great time and is ready for the next month! thanks jenn for letting me post pictures first:) i don't have a picture of me with the BUNCO crown on, so jenn may have to post it for me! oh yeah, and i got 2nd place! go me!

Frozen Eggs!

Did anyone else watch GMA this morning? Well they put an egg in a pan and wanted to see how long it took for it to freeze. It only took 5 minutes in New York. So some people here today wanted to try it. We didn't put it way out in the wind, we put it on the ramp by the building. It took a good 10 minutes for it to freeze completely. Some of the whites were frozen in 2 minutes, but the yolk took the longest. Pretty cool! We really need to do it again out in the wide open and see how long it takes.

What a great experiment to do today for all you lucky people that got to stay home today out of the cold! If you do it let me know how it turns out:)

ummmmm, someone needs to budget for some paint to paint the doors that are rusting downstairs. and that someone needs to be bree! and if it doesn't get done, you know it will reflect bad on bree. HECK YES IT WOULD! b/c you know I AM the only one that works in this stinkin courthouse!

friday night braylon had to go potty while we were out eating for my mom's birthday. well the toilet was too tall for him so here is our conversation:

me: braylon you can't pee standing up
braylon: why
me: b/c the stool is too tall for you
braylon sits down and looks up at me and says: can you? (meaning can i stand up and pee)
me: no
braylon: why
me: b/c i am a girl
braylon: you ain't a girl, you a mommy

so there you have it, i am no longer a girl, i am a MOMMY!

Did anyone else see the moon last night? I couldn't get a very good picture of it but this is what I got.

If you didn't see it then check out the ring that is around the moon. It was so big that I couldn't capture it all in the lens of my camera. Very cool! Someone said that it was ice crystals and that if there were any stars inside the circle, which there wasn't, then that meant how many rains we would have. I guess that is some old wives tale.
Anyhow just thought I would share.

dirty underwear

jared has two nights of giving braylon a bath(because we keep track of who's night it is, and yes i did it two nights in a row, so now he has two nights). well he didn't give him one last night. i called jared this morning on my way home from curves to see if he gave braylon a bath this morning. here is our convo:

me: did you give braylon a bath this morning
jared: no
me: did you at least change his underwear
jared: no, why
me: b/c that is gross!

so needless to say he went to the babysitters in the same underwear he wore yesterday! that just gross's me out!!!!!

it doesn't bother me so much that he didn't get a bath ONE day, but to wear dirty underwear, that is another story!

so, please don't turn us in:)!!!! i did tell our babysitter to take those off of him and put some clean ones on him that i left at her house.

New Years Eve

Ok, yeah I know, almost a week behind. Does it sound like I care? nope! so here it goes:)

we had several people over new year's eve! we had an absolute blast! jared & I, amy and matt buford, amanda and matt heeren, michelle and norm dunlop, jim and amee jones and dave and heather boas, all came over!

we had food and i mean lots of food! it was all so delicious! some of us played Left Right Center. for those of you that don't know anything about it. it is a dice game and a very fun dice game! and some of the guys played 4 point pitch! they gambled, we gambled and neither jared or I won. yep, losers!

we played the newlywed game! and guess what?! WE WON!!! yeah, i am not quite sure how we do it. i guess because we know each other a little bit better than we let on:) then some of us played spoons. i had heard about this game but had never played it until braxton got the game for xmas. it was so much fun. a few hurt fingers and a big scratch in my dining room table, but who cares? me? nope! i lost there too.

so what about the kids? what kids? ha ha ha! they were all very good. i am probably glad we didn't know what all went on downstairs, because i am sure some of us might not have liked the ideas that those boys came up with. i did get to witness, thru my video on my camera, that they had lots of fun ramping! and when i say ramping i mean RAMPING. yes, in the basement! they used some 2 by 4's and a bean bag to do this. they pushed each other on a little bitty four wheeler that is meant for 2 year olds, not 10 year olds, across the length of my basement and ramped. i know that bronson got hurt because i saw it on my camera. but no one died and they had fun. so no biggie!

i am planning on having another new year's eve party next year. so if you wanna come, let me know and get it on your calendar now!
