Where does a 12 year old even "do it" at? Aren't they with their parents most of the time or some adult?

WOW, seriously..... TWELVE?

texting

everywhere you look someone is starring at their phone punching away furiously so they can get that next text sent. whether you are walking down the street, sitting in a restaurant or driving, someone is always texting. if you haven't noticed then the next time you are out and about check it out.

now don't get me wrong and think that i dislike texting, b/c you are wrong. i love texting. but i also have some mixed feelings about it.

i think it is a great handy little tool when you want to just ask someone a quick question or when you are in a meeting and you want to send a text for some reason.

but i think it is bad b/c you quit "talking" to people. it is just like all you are doing is emailing them and not ever "talking" to them. i like to "talk" to people! i think if all you do is text back and forth with someone you miss out on a lot of discussions because you don't want to type that much.

so what is your outlook on "texting"?

Labels

Labels would be so nice right about now. I have been looking for pictures of my walls so I can show Amy the colors of them. But I can't hardly find any b/c dumb me should have been labeling my posts and then I would have been able to go RIGHT to them. So maybe I should start now and slowly but surely go back and label all of my posts. that does not sound like a fun job!

Windy

I've always been told I am windy, but I didn't know I was this windy!

This weekend is the Antique fair in Memphis. Braxton's ball team is setting up shop and trying to raise money for their traveling ball team next year. They are having a pop bottle toss, duck pond and sno cones. So today on my lunch hour I blew up 84 bats! and only 4 or 5 of them didn't stay up. I blew these all up in less than an hour! Aren't I awesome?!?! Not really, the air compressor is awesome:)

So now my van smells like a big fat rubbery baseball bat! and look at how full it is!

Isn't that red baseball cooler neat? I got this so we could fill it up with water and put the ducks in there to float around. I hope it works! But the problem is, we don't have the ducks yet! Whatever happened to little miss organization?

All that hard work has paid off

last year jared and i worked our little buttocks' off working on our landscaping. we planted 6 bushes and 3 flowering plants, put in i don't know how many stones, black paper and loads and loads and loads of river rock. it looked so nice when we got done. in the fall i planted some seeds. i can't for the life of me remember what i planted, but they are coming up now. i was so excited to see the green poking through the ground awhile back. then last night i noticed a bud on one of them and then at 6:00 this morning look what i saw, A YELLOW LILY BLOOMED OUT!!! if you know me well enough, you know i can't keep anything alive so as long as it can come and go by its self every year and not require me to take care of it, then it will live!


these are the flowering plants that i planted last year. they have been green all along and very small and then KABAM! they got HUGE and sprouted lots of color, and purple color i may add.

aren't they beautiful?!

can you tell the picture is kind of foggy? that is b/c this morning it was terribly foggy when i took that picture. i think it adds a little bit of character to the picture, don't you?

OMG!

DEAD SKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think that dead skin has to be the most nastiest thing ever.

i once dated a guy that when he stayed all night with me that he had peeled all over my bed! it was so gross!

i told this story to andrea tonight.

so wanna know something really gross? i know you do!

i ate a yogurt while checking my email tonight. CHUNKS of dead skin are coming off of my arm. so i put the CHUNKS in my yogurt container when i got done.

so i go to put my yogurt in the trash about 15 minutes later and i am NOT even thinking and decide to get that ONE last drop of yougurt out of there. or in this case that BIG CHUNCK of dead skin!

so i spit and spat and carried on and said out loud, "OMG, that was so disgusting! what were you thinking!"

dead skin on my bed or in my mouth. either way it is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!

I am up and running at home!

Dell failed to send me my monitor with my computer, so I am borrowing one until it gets here.

AT & T couldn't get my internet going so they had to send out a trouble ticket.

They said they would call within 24 hours, but it only took them 2 minutes!

So they got me all fixed up!

Thanks to Andrea for the modem, saved me LOTS of money! Isn't that what friends are for?

Also, Andrea, maybe Jenn and myself are having a garage sale on Saturday. For more info get into touch with one of us!

Gotta go price garage sale stuff!

you know how you dread to make those one particular phone calls.

where you press 1 for this and say this for that and on and on and on.......

well today i had to make that call! i had to call at & t.

dreading it the whole time i was dialing the number.

this wonderful guy i talked to was so nice and helpful.

he answered right away!

anyhow, my internet will be up and running by thursday AND i get to use andrea's modem so i don't have to buy one!

even better!

so i will have internet on thursday and not sure when i will have my computer:)

so, today is looking better:)

excited for tomorrow

~ tomorrow is braxton's last day of school

~ jared comes home tomorrow

~ the boys have their first league games tomorrow

so i can't wait for tomorrow!!!!

oh and guess what???? i ordered a new computer for home:) isn't that the greatest thing you have heard all day? thought so!

i am gonna leave it at that b/c i am tired and grouchy.

bronson didn't get to have his first ball practice b/c of rain and he is upset

braylon gets his tonsils out thursday

i am going to be off for TWO days, one for braxton's field trip and the other for when braylon has his tonsils out

HOPPY EASTER!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Hoppy Easter!

We have lots of Easter's this weekend, 3 to be exact!

The kids are performing the songs they have learned at Sonlight on Sunday morning at 7. Jenn has done a great job with teaching all of them! Thank you Jenn!

Our churche's sunrise service begins at 7 with the little kids performing, breakfast at 7:30 and then the service at 8 and 10:25. Try and attend, it will be great!

Try and keep all of your eggs in one basket this weekend:)
