rally!

we are home, safe and sound! it was a great weekend despite the cold, rainy weather. we lost all of our games, but the kids had fun and played ball, so that is all that matters. their 3rd game they were behind by a bunch, so the kids turned their hats inside out to help with their luck rallying. so their #1 fan did too, my dad!

we play again this sat in laplata. if you would like to come and watch let me know and i will give you the times.

ALL THE EXCITEMENT WE HAD THIS WEEKEND:
* braylon about drown in the hot tub. jared went in after him with his clothes on.
* braylon got lost at the ball fields. was wondering around in the parking lot looking for his mom. guess whose responsiblity he was..... JAREDS! jared had not even realized he wasn't with him. thank goodness the person that found him was with our team.
* was the 2nd car to come up on a wreck. A BAD one! the girl had flown over the overpass and had landed underneath the overpass on the other road. i went up to offer help before the emergency crews got there. not a sight i want to see ever again. i can't help but wonder how she is
* the hotel service was terrible! i asked for extra towels and the guy told me they were out. i said how can you be out of towels. he proceeded to tell me that he could give me some hand towels and wash cloths. and i told him " like i can really dry off with one of those!"
* we bbq'd in the parking lot of the hotel. that was fun!
* watched 2 games in the rain! i can't wait to show you the pictures. DEDICATION!!!
* did several loads of laundry when we got home
* scrubbed white pants till i was blue in the face. not quite sure whose bright idea it was to wear white pants, especially when they are playing in the rain and sliding in mud puddles. BUT boy did they ever look sharp on the field in their uniforms!

i will post more pictures later! hope you had a great wknd!

i love ball season. i've watched my fair share of games in the rain... as long as there is no lightning, i'm good!

I don't think dedication begins to cover it. Your like the perfect baseball mom. Standing in the rain scrubbing white ball pants. It all sounds so glamorous.
