brotherly love

jenn commented that she didn't hear bronson say braxton's name in his prayers so i had to listen and see. she was right which brings me to write this post!

the boys are just now getting to that stage where they really like to do ANYTHING to bother the other. these last few days they have been driving me crazy. monday night bronson didn't know how to behave at the frederick's farm and got himself into trouble. you know when you tell them to do something you expect them do it but bronson had a different idea that night. he thought telling me no was alright. so when i went to spank him for backtalking me he started to run away from me. that didn't jive with me. i won't tell you what i did but everyone there knows. momma wasn't happy!!

so, anyhow last night jared was tring to study and the boys know they are to be quiet. so with the bedroom door shut i could hear braxton yelling at bronson. i had to go out there and talk very stern, quietly. that is a hard thing for me to do, anyhow the reason braxton was yelling was b/c he was watching tv and bronson was laying on the floor and would change the station with his toes, just to aggravate braxton. to me it was funny b/c they were just being brothers and i remember doing anything to aggravate my brothers too. but then while i am on the phone bronson does it again and braxton yells at him again so, i made them shut the tv off and they couldn't watch it anymore that night. they were both asleep in no time. so i would say braxton made bronson mad the other night and he left him out of his prayers. who knows!

i know i should treasure these days but when it is an everyday occurence it is beginning to get old. and i have what 15 more years of it until they are all gone, wow!

so tell me friends, what do your kids do to aggravate their siblings or better yet what did you do to aggravate your siblings?

oh my goodness...i'm not sure my sisters & i truly liked each other until we hit 12 or 13 respectively. lauren was always andrea's pet and i would pester them just b/c i felt left out...
we fought bad. mom & dad's biggest punishment was making us sit on the couch and hug or hold hands and pick up sticks in the backyard. one time when lauren and i were on the couch she bit me on the head and made me bleed...i don't think the punishment stuck for her! i could go on and on...

right now my kids are racing. they try to get out of the van first...through the same door, get to the bathroom first, etc. hopefully, some of this will end in the new house with their own space.

Dream on Andrea. I, being a perfect angel and all, never did ANYTHING to Casey. But he use to torture me. I've been stuffed in dryers, laundry hampers, end tables, you name it. I was so excited to be playing with the boys that I didn't even mind and usually got in of my own free will. This is how it would go. "Corin I bet you can't fit in there." Me-"Yes I can, SEE." It was when they would lean on the door and I couldn't get out that I had a problem. No wonder I'm clostraphobic (sp).
