Kids say the funniest things
The following is about my niece Gabrielle in Florida and her conversation with her mom:
Gabrielle said a boy in her class accused her of something she didn’t do. Finally, I said just ignore him. She said, “I didn’t know what kind of words I would ignore him with.”
I thought that was so cute. Kids are always thinking but sometimes just don't know how to express it:)
I am working all day today. I have done really good and haven't gotten really tired. I am starting to slow down but I am going to stick it out until the end of the day.
I hope everyone's week is going great. It is almost over and I know most of you are glad but to me it feels like the week is just getting started. I am sure since I don't work everyday or all day everyday might have something to do with it. I am hoping that next week I can come back full time. I have lots to do to get ready for the big day, 19 days and counting! I am so sick of hearing about the election that I could puke! I am still very much undecided. I don't know if I will ever make up my mind, even on election day. I guess I just need to pray and ask for God's guidance on this issue. I really need it.

tired? not sure!
a crazy weekend it was. i think i might have over done it. i went to bed at 8:30 the last two nights. sat night i went right to sleep but last night i was tossing and turning until about 9:30. my stomach hurt reallly bad last night. it was the inside of it that hurt. it felt like it was burning and pulling apart. not sure why, but i bet it had to do with pulling weeds at the ballfields. we had work day at the ball fields yesterday and let me tell you, it looks better. not too many people would notice the "little, but big" things that we did, but i do so that makes me happy.
i am really excited to go to memphis tonight. we are getting together with some of the other Stixx traveling baseball families. we are going to eat pizza, draw for the hog (and that is why i am so excited), talk about our plans and expectations for the team and BS! i am really hoping that the winner is someone that we sold to. i will let you know tomorrow who the BIG winner is:) jared and i didn't buy any tickets b/c we didn't think it would look too good if we won it but someone else bought some tickets and put our names on them, so if we win i am not sure what we will do. probably put it aside and draw another name. that would only be fair, right?
on another note...............
i have been attending church at the lancaster christian church for the past month. i am really liking it and hoping that braylon is getting more used to the idea. the fourth sunday was a little bit easier. braxton and bronson have been going to sonlight and love it and i think are going to start going with me to services more often. but the reason i am talking about this is b/c of me and my faith. i have always believed but have never found a church that i love, not that i was looking very hard. but the past 2 sundays something has really drawn me in. i am not sure what it is. when the preacher talks about coming down front at the end of his service really has me. i want to go but then i think, should i? i want to! so i am thinking really hard on when is the right time? i know they say when you are ready it will all just fall into place. i wonder in my head what will people think of me when i go down front. now i am not a shy person, but for some reason this is a HUGE step for me and i want to make it perfect! it is the weirdest feeling when he welcomes you to come down there. i get goose bumps and tears in my eyes and wonder do i go? now? when? so, help me guys!
i feel better getting that off of my chest. i have been thinking about it for a week now.
better run. need to take a nap so i will be in tip top shape for my big evening:)

shot
went to the dr and everything is looking good. i got my first of two shots. they gave it to me in my stomach. yeah, ouch! although they did put an ice pack on my stomach for 5 minutes to numb it so the shot itself didn't hurt. once the numbing wore off it got sore.
i can drive now!!! yeah! look out gas prices will be going back up since i will be back on the roads.
my pathology report was good. it was all endometrious. she said it was definitely something that needed to be done. so i am glad i did it now.
just thought i would update everyone on my doctor visit. see ya.

Mohawk
This is how Bronson came home on Wednesday. He went with my grandma to the beauty shop and Linda Day said that she would fix him up so noone would even notice his new hair cut. He thought it looked pretty cool:)I have to go to the Dr today. Hopefully everything will be going good. I didn't feel the greatest yesterday but today I am feeling much better.
Happy Friday to everyone and I hope you all have a great weekend. We have a very busy weekend. Tomorrow is soccer, baby shower and flag football. Sunday is church, work day at the ball fields and a pumpkin carving party. Fun filled weekend!

Barber Bronson

last night bronson decided he needed a hair cut. he is right he needed one, but he didn't need to do it himself! i thought he had been in the shower an awful long time so when i went to check on him he was up on the counter in our bathroom just cutting away! now i know every kid does this, but this is my kid that did it:) he only got one side of his bangs done when i caught him in the act. we left it the way it was and told him that he couldn't wear a hat or hood. this is his punishment. i don't think he really cared at the time b/c he thought it looked good. but this morning he had his hat on and tried putting his hood on. we aren't getting our hair cut until thursday night so we will see how much he likes his hair cut then.
i am feeling better. monday was not a very good day for me. my throat was hurting so bad that i had jared take me to the dr. my sinus infection was just getting worse. they put me on a different antibotic and i feel much better today. i had a fever monday and tuesday and didn't feel like doing anything but laying around. i went to wal-mart today with dianna kinney, thanks dianna! i needed a few things and basically just needed out of the house. i am now at my mom and dads checking up on all my emails and everyones blogs. and yes i drove to town! i know i am not suppose to but what does it hurt to just drive to town?
better run, need to go home and take a nap. my wal-mart trip wore me out. funny how being down for a week wears you out.

HOME!
well, i am home as of yesterday. thanks to everyone that called, stopped by, sent flowers or has already brought food. it is greatly appreciated! it is great to have such good friends and family. it looks like andrea updated her blog about me but for those of you that don't read her blog i will tell you about it....
my surgery took 2 1/2 hours instead of an hour and half. the doctor said it was worse than she had anticipated. i had a lot of endometrios, a tumor on my left ovary and a chocolate cyst on my bowel. they sent both of them off to pathology to make sure they are ok, but she was almost certain that they would be fine. i had told her that i wanted to keep my ovaries but if she got in there and there was something wrong with them then to take them. i had originally had problems with my right ovary so you can imagine my surprise when they told me they had taken my left ovary. she said of everything in there that my right ovary looked the best. i have to go in friday for a check up and to get my first shot. i have to have 2 shots that will last 3 months each. the shot is to make sure the endometrios doesn't come back. the shots will put me into menopause for 6 months. i am real excited about that. but i really don't want the endometrios to come back. also, my bladder was growing into my uterus. not sure how that works but that is what they said. i had a lot of pain the first day and night. i woke up at 1:30 on Thursday morning in a lot of pain. i thought maybe i just needed to get up since i had been laying in that bed forever. when the nurse came to get me up i told her that i was really shaky and that i felt like i had gotten behind on my pain medicine. which i knew i hadn't because i had been hitting it a lot. well come to find out my iv for my pain medicine had fallen out and i hadn't been getting any pain medicine. no wonder i was hurting. once i got some pumped into me i started feeling a lot better. i am doing very good for everything i have just been thru. i am really glad that i went ahead with the surgery. because who knows what it would have been like if i would have waited. God was looking out for me. i went to bronson's soccer game this morning and then to braxton's flag football game this afternoon. a lot of people wondered why i was out and i told them i was just going to sit at home so i might as well sit at their games and watch them. i am more sore tonight than i was last night so hopefully i didn't overdue it today. anyhow, thanks again for all the prayers and for just thinking about me. i love all of you:)
i am going to try and talk jared into getting a computer. this sitting at home without one is for the birds. i should have thought of that sooner, then i would have maybe had one now!
i will hopefully be back on here soon to blog. i have really missed reading everyones blogs! have a great rest of the weekend and i will be in touch.....
