I can't even explain the feeling I had yesterday.....
I woke up around 6 because I was just so anxious. I finally just got up and started piddling around the house. I didn't think it was EVER going to be time for Church. The message was great and the songs just made me so emotional. I don't know if it was b/c I knew what was coming or just everything all together. There were so many people there cheering me on. Thank you to all of you! You know who you are.
I can't even begin to express how I felt. I was nervous, scared, proud, anxious and happy all rolled into one emotion. Someone asked me "how do you know you are ready". And I all I could tell them was, YOU JUST KNOW! I can't explain it. I feel so much better. I am anxious to become a part of the Church family and to have my family grow too. So thanks for the Welcome Aboard Church Family:) Also thanks to my mom and dad for the beautiful bracelet, Andrea for the bible and Corin for the bible cover. It was very thoughtful of you guys to get me something.
A little funny to go along with yesterday. When Andrea went back to help me get ready she was getting the robe ready for me and you know how a bridesmaid gets underneath your dress and gets it all bunched up so she can put the dress over your head? well that is what she was doing but was having trouble then she says "oh wait they are shorts" it was so funny. one of those things you had to be there, but i needed that laugh right then. i wish we could have had a picture of her trying to get it ready for me. so thanks andrea for the laugh and for everything thru this little journey i have taken! very much apprecitaed:)
WOW! WHAT A GREAT FEELING THAT WAS!!!!!!!
It is a go! I am getting baptized on Sunday. I will share pics on Monday:)
Have a great weekend everyone!
Today on the way home from Kirksville I told Bronson that they were to wear their pajama's to Sonlight tonight. I said they were going to watch a movie too. I said do you know why. NO. I said well what did God do on the 7th day? He said "make pajama's." I couldn't help but laugh because it was so funny. I preceded to tell him that he rested on the 7th day and that is why they got to wear their pj's. This kid is SOOOO funny!
Just had to share:)
a crazy weekend it was. i think i might have over done it. i went to bed at 8:30 the last two nights. sat night i went right to sleep but last night i was tossing and turning until about 9:30. my stomach hurt reallly bad last night. it was the inside of it that hurt. it felt like it was burning and pulling apart. not sure why, but i bet it had to do with pulling weeds at the ballfields. we had work day at the ball fields yesterday and let me tell you, it looks better. not too many people would notice the "little, but big" things that we did, but i do so that makes me happy.
i am really excited to go to memphis tonight. we are getting together with some of the other Stixx traveling baseball families. we are going to eat pizza, draw for the hog (and that is why i am so excited), talk about our plans and expectations for the team and BS! i am really hoping that the winner is someone that we sold to. i will let you know tomorrow who the BIG winner is:) jared and i didn't buy any tickets b/c we didn't think it would look too good if we won it but someone else bought some tickets and put our names on them, so if we win i am not sure what we will do. probably put it aside and draw another name. that would only be fair, right?
on another note...............
i have been attending church at the lancaster christian church for the past month. i am really liking it and hoping that braylon is getting more used to the idea. the fourth sunday was a little bit easier. braxton and bronson have been going to sonlight and love it and i think are going to start going with me to services more often. but the reason i am talking about this is b/c of me and my faith. i have always believed but have never found a church that i love, not that i was looking very hard. but the past 2 sundays something has really drawn me in. i am not sure what it is. when the preacher talks about coming down front at the end of his service really has me. i want to go but then i think, should i? i want to! so i am thinking really hard on when is the right time? i know they say when you are ready it will all just fall into place. i wonder in my head what will people think of me when i go down front. now i am not a shy person, but for some reason this is a HUGE step for me and i want to make it perfect! it is the weirdest feeling when he welcomes you to come down there. i get goose bumps and tears in my eyes and wonder do i go? now? when? so, help me guys!
i feel better getting that off of my chest. i have been thinking about it for a week now.
better run. need to take a nap so i will be in tip top shape for my big evening:)
