weekend getaway

we are headed out after work to lake of the ozarks with vance and andrea.

we are taking NO KIDS!

oh, i love my kids, but won't it be nice to:
not have to get up and get a child a drink,
not have to figure out what each kid wants to eat at a restaurant and then only have 5 seconds to figure out what you want b/c the waitress is ready to take your order,
don't have to listen to fighting in the van,
don't have to hear how much longer every other minute,
don't have to be doing something E.V.E.R.Y. S.I.N.G.L.E M.I.N.U.T.E.!

won't it be great to:
sit by the pool and relax,
take a boat ride and not have to worry about a kid going overboard,
only have to get up and get myself something to drink, when i want to!,
be able to actually look at a menu,
ride in a peaceful van,
and just hang out with great friends and have no agenda!

that's what i am talking about!!!
