and he is off
jared took off this morning for southern MO. he will be gone 10-12 days. i hate to see him go, but am glad that he is getting the opportunity. it will be very good expierence for him. i think braxton is having the hardest time with it. i let him stay home today from school b/c he cried and cried this morning when jared was about to leave. i figured my dad would be the best therapy for him. below is a picture of what it looked like at my house last night. jared wanted the boys by his side and they didn't want to get too far away from him. i wonder if they would be like that if i was gonna leave for that many days?:) so please keep jared, dick and steve in your prayers as they travel and help restore power and also pray that vance, norm, jim and jake have a safe trip home. i checked the weather today to see what it was going to be like down there. well, tomorrow they are suppose to have straight line winds, possible tornados and hail. they say they could have more power outages. so i hope that what they have accomplished down there that it won't be wiped out again!

I know it's hard on them but aren't you glad that your kids love their dad that much?
I'm not sure how to respond such a mixed emotions thing.
I'm glad that Jared gets the oportunity and experience.
Sad that you and the boys will be missing him.
Worried for their safety.
Happy that Vance and the guys are comming home and will get some well deserved time with their families.
Hopeful that they will be able to get power up soon for southern MO.
Frustrated that more bad weather is moving in down there.
Prayerful that everything will workout for the best.
Good luck...here's to bonding with the boys! Call me if you need a break and remember to look forward to bunco, birthday, and retreat!
Hope you and the boys get to talk to him often!!
Father and sons. Both are lucky. Brax is good therapy for me as well.
